at least on hard-drives…
last week, the drive on my secondary computer crashed suddenly and would not boot due to “no boot drive found”. a little web researching suggested freezing the drive overnight. this morning, lo and behold, it WORKED!

Hard Drive upgrade

With 3.64GB left and sometimes none, I upgraded my 500GB HD in my desktop to a 1TB from an extra external drive. Using Maxtor’s MaxBlast utility, everything went silky smooth. Ran the imaging overnight. Swapped drives, rebooted and all done!

A fling with Droid

decided to testdrive the Droid OS. there were some things I liked such as the search bar staying on top as opposed to the disappearing one with the IOS. the other was the back button. Apple’s home button many times takes you too far back. in the end, the huge lead Apple has in Apps kept me. I never though of parting ways with the iPhone but was a test to towards possibly replacing the iPad. Still intrigued with having a 7″ tablet somewhere down the road.

after driving only driving the speed limit (or even below on the fwy) and making full stops (2 secs), even with no cross traffic, she wonders why it took longer to get home!
