A tale of two deaths

31 10 2007

Death can be dealt in many different ways and levels. Who’s to say one is right nor wrong. This year, I’ve seen two people deal very differently with the deaths of their spouses.

  • Person A:
    Female
    married 40yrs
    spouse died unexpectly
    two adult kids
went back to work within a week.
  • Person B:
    Male
    married 22yrs
spouse died after long battle with cancer
    two teenage kids
went back to work after two months.

Does a sudden death make it easier to go on with one’s life?

back to blogspot?

31 10 2007

Naturally, NOTHING’s perfect. So, for now, I’m switching back to blogspot for my blog. Not that I have alot of photos in my blogs but it’s just easier (for me) to upload them there. Now that the search is working pretty well and consistently, I feel pretty good about going back. Now, if only I could get the snap.com to work with it.

29 10 2007

Well, it’s a month into the new TV season and here’s my programing.

  • Grey’s Anatomy (ABC)
  • Two and half men (CBS)

From last season:

  • Rules of Engagemnet (NBC)
  • The new adventures of old Christine (NBC)

New:

  • Bigshots (ABC)
  • Dirty, Sexy, Money (ABC)
  • Samantha Who (ABC)

New but gave up on:

  • Big Bang Theory (CBS)
  • Chuck (NBC)
  • Journeyman (NBC)

back to the past?

17 10 2007

I recently rediscovered my blogspot blog. I haven’t been using it do to it’s erratic search within the blog. Even after Google took it over, it didn’t work well. It seems to be working now and I do like it’s easier to add images to a post.

Hmm, which to use?

Fleetweek err… Blue Angels

15 10 2007

This year looks to have nice weather for the Blue Angels. This year I was at 4 different spots, 3 of which were new. Here what it was like on day 1 from near Aquatic Park looking towards Angel Island and Alcatraz.
