Today I came across jimdo.com courtesy of webware.com and started what could be a new homepage/website. Especially now that it seems stable (3 days now). If only it had a search within feature!

Easter shopping…

This year’s Easter lunch took us to Redd in Yountville and as usual, a stop to the Napa outlet mall. This time was actually pretty productive as my wife found 4 pairs of jeans for the price of one Lucky brand jeans purchased last week at Bloomingdales. Granted, they weren’t the same Lucky brand (2 Banana Republics and 2 Levis’) but still an excellent deal. I got a couple of pairs of Dockers pants and a new pair of flip-flops.

Yesterday, I said farewell to my Fujitsu P5010D. As mentioned earlier, this was a favorite of mine and I’ll miss it.

Who has my car?

Just checking the local VW dealers to see who might have my new Rabbit. Dirito Bros (54 miles away) had 5 of them in the color I wanted. Boardwalk, just 5.3 miles away hasn’t had any in weeks. Two other dealers (Ron Price: 16 miles, Bob Lewis:32 miles) also do not show it in inventory. Purchase is still 2.5 months away but I like to kinda see who would have the car. In the mean-time, my CRV has passed 197300. All seems to be going to “plan” of it reaching 200K miles and my brother coming down from Oregon in early July to buy it. Presently, I’m averaging 1000 miles per 3 weeks, so I should hit the 200K by the end of June.
