testing…1,2,3

Nearly over the my cold now. Unfortunately, I’ve passed it onto my wife. Hopefully it’ll be a mild case.

I’m writing this one using FrontPage to see if can apply styles to my blog entries.

Hmmm, seems to be more work than it’s worth…

over the hump?

6 days into my cold and I hope I’m over it. Due to staffing issues at my work, I wasn’t able to take consecutive days off to get over it. Worked Mon, Weds, Fri and Sat. Out Tues and Thurs. Hard to get any momentum that way. Actually, Thursday afternoon I though I was fine but I think I breathed in some carpet powder or something because after that, my nose just wouldn’t stop running. Finally Saturday morning, after two night of massive congestion, I bought a nasal decongestant spray and did a really GOOD job of clearing the congestion. So well, I wished I purchased it earlier! Could have saved myself some suffering.

a tale of two shows…

Today was a pretty busy day logistically. Started out with MacWorld in SF and ending with the Autoshow in SJ. iPhone was cool and iTV seemed intriging (switched to PC a few years back) otherwise not exciting to me like last year’s. I went to the autoshow so I could sit in cars and not be accosted by sales. My inital choice of the VW Rabbit seemed best. Very comfy once I got in.

So far, it’s a pretty good year…

My 1 st day off of the year and it was pretty productive. I found something that’s been missing for a couple of months. Lost something else today but just found it with losing something else (yet?). Got rid of an old monitor that was taking up some space. Put away the few Christmas decorations we had. I’m pretty happy.
