While crossing the street (Ok, jaywalking), I had to jog to get past a waiting bus when my cellphone jumped out of it’s holster and onto the pavement. To add insult to injury, it then skidded into a puddle of water. Once I got back to work, it went dead. A few minutes open in front of a hair-dryer and it seemed Ok except for it’s new dents. I have to admitt ANY OTHER electronic device I have would have bit the dust. Cellphones in general seem to be the most indestructable technology.
